  CELEBRITY NEWS| Kabza De Small win four awards /image supplied BY: Staff Reporter  Kabza De Small and Mthunzi scoop four Metro FM music gongs Kabelo Motha, known as Kabza De Small alongside Mthunzi Ndimande, walked away victorious on Saturday night for their hit song Imithandazo. Kabza and Mthunzi scooped four Metro FM Music Awards for Song of the Year, Best Amapiano, Best Produced Album, and Best Collaboration. The Metro FM Music Awards took place at the Mbombela Stadium and were hosted by Tebogo ProVerb Thekisho and Luthando LootLove Shosha. Speaking to Sunday World about the win, Mthunzi said he was grateful to have been given a chance by Kabza De Small and dedicated the win to his late mother. “I am so honoured and now stressed out about what I will release next. Song of the Year goes to my mother for actually being the first person to believe in me and my talent,” he said. JOZI FM DJs NOT HAPPY WITH PENNY.

  ENTERTAINMENT NEWS | Penny Ntuli  Image: Facebook  BY: Staff Reporter  News coming in is that some Jozi FM presenters are not happy with Penny Ntuli receiving preferential treatment at the station.  Just  two weeks after joining the Soweto based radio station, ZiMoja is reporting that some presenters are gatvol with the "princess treatment" she is getting from the station bosses. According to an article, Penny Ntuli has her own accomodation provided by the station and she is driven to and from work everyday.  "She is driven by the station boss everyday, she get free lunches and taken to Soweto restaurants everyday" says one of the unhappy staff.  "So many celebrities have been to the station to see her including Thina Zungu and other notable politicians"  ZiMoja reports that they tried to reach out to Penny Ntuli but she was unavailable.  Penny Ntuli joined Jozi FM about two weeks ago after she was offered a slot amid her debacle with ...

TRENDING NEWS| DJ Sbu's Massiv Metro faces liquidation for failing to pay it's debts BY THABO FEZA A digital radio station founded by media personality and businessman Sbusiso “DJ Sbu” Leope is facing the prospect of liquidation after failing to pay its debts. A Joburg-based company, Business Partners Leadership (BPL), has obtained a default judgment against Massiv Metro for failing to pay it at least R4-million.  BPL is now applying for another default judgment against Leadership Twenty-20, a company founded by DJ Sbu, after it acted as security for the bad loan granted to Massiv Metro. According to the papers, which are in our possession, Massiv Metro, represented by one Tyrone Willemse, entered into a written agreement in which BPL advanced a R3-million loan to the digital station on March 27, 2018. The station was required to pay back the loan in R100 000 instalments for 36 months from September 1, 2019. The station also entered into an agreement with BPL to pay it 2% of it...

Amakipkip clothing brand apologises to Forbes and Megacy for monetizing on AKA's death

  TRENDING NEWS| BY NANCY PELE Local clothing brand Amakipkip will remove late rapper AKA’s merchandise from its stores and issue an apology to his family. The T-shirts, which were posted on Amakipkip’s social media pages, were also advertised for R600 at its Pretoria store. SiyaTrenda understands that the representatives from Amakipkip were locked in a meeting with the rapper’s family. His lawyer Rudolph Baloyi of Rudolph Baloyi Inc said: “The meeting is still under way. They have agreed to apologise and remove the merchandise.” Baloyi said a public statement will be issued later in the day. The brand also received criticism from AKA’s brother Stephan and the late rapper’s girlfriend Nadia Nakai.
