Kabza and Mthunzi scooped four Metro FM Music Awards for Song of the Year, Best Amapiano, Best Produced Album, and Best Collaboration. The Metro FM Music Awards took place at the Mbombela Stadium and were hosted by Tebogo ProVerb Thekisho and Luthando LootLove Shosha. Speaking to Sunday World about the win, Mthunzi said he was grateful to have been given a chance by Kabza De Small and dedicated the win to his late mother. “I am so honoured and now stressed out about what I will release next. Song of the Year goes to my mother for actually being the first person to believe in me and my talent,” he said.
